I would never, for any reason, knowingly assist with or promote an invalid or fraudulent raffle. If you have a question or concern on a raffle organization take a look at IRS.gov and click on the “Charities & Non-Profit’s” tab at the top of their website. The Better Business Bureau is also a good resource for looking into organizations. Also, you may contact the local and/or state authorities in the area of the raffle to ask about a certain organization or event. It’s sad but there are folks out there that will take advantage of people trying to do a good thing.
